How Looked After Call works
Works with your Management Information System
Looked after Call runs from the data of Looked after Children held within your authorities management information system and can be easily exported and imported into the Looked After Call system.
Secure website
Log into the secure Looked After Call website and a register is displayed showing the Looked After Children. This allows the recording of their attendance code in the AM or PM sessions for each day.
Message the Carer
Those that are marked with a 'no reason' attendance code, will be sent either a text message or automated phone call requesting a reason for the absence and the expected return date. This function can be turned on or off.
Real time reporting
The Local Authority has access to online, real time reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, showing Excluded Students, Absent Students, Schools with no Marks, Persistent Absentees and Pupils awaiting Placement. In addition, more advanced reporting configurable by the Local Authority can be gleaned.
Track children in and out of borough
Schools that have Looked After Children both within and outside the boundaries of the Local Authority are shown online, including the number of children within each school and editable details for each child.
Track children not yet placed
Students can also be tracked even if they aren’t yet placed at a permanent school. With marks added directly by the Local Authority.
Real time Audit Trail
A full audit trail of activity on the website by the Local Authority or the school users is recorded and can be accessed over any time period or event.
