How Truancy Call works

Integrates with your school's Management Information System

  1. Logging in

    There is a unique ID and password to log into Truancy Call.

  2. Get Absent students

    Once logged in, pressing 'Get Absent Students' will retrieve all students with an unauthorised absence attendance code against them. Once checked send/receive is pressed.

  3. Confirmation

    Confirmation that calls/text messages/e-mails are to be sent out to those absent from school.

  4. Messages to Parents

    Phones calls, text messages and e-mails will go out to the parents. They will respond in the same way by texting, e-mailing or speaking into the phone the reason for their child's absence.

  5. Parental Response

    Text/e-mail responses can be viewed on screen. Responses to the phone calls are stored as a voice message which can be listened to through the speakers/headphones in school.

  6. Allocate Attendance Code

    Voice or text message responses are allocated the appropriate attendance code and expected date of return to school, that attendance code is written back to the school management information system (where allowable).
