Safer Internet Day 2015

Safer Internet Day (SID) is organised by Insafe. It happens in February of every year to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones, especially among children and young people across the world.

The UK Safer Internet Centre is a partnership of three UK charities who reach out to thousands of children every year. UK Safer Internet Centre sees hundreds of organisations get involved to help promote the safe, responsible and positive use of digital technology for children and young people.

Hundreds of schools, youth groups, charities, companies, police forces, local and national government all get involved to support the day.

Last year they reached 25% of UK children, 18% of teens and 10% of parents on Safer Internet Day 2014 a fantastic achievement for a one-day campaign and this year they are hoping it’s going to be even bigger, more widely supported and acknowledged.

We support Safer Internet Day.

Our anti bullying system, textsomeone is designed to help encourage those who need to report incidents of bullying and anti-social behaviour directly to schools. Students can text or go online 24/7.
